2017 Paving Bids

Subject: Request for Bids - 2017 Paving Bids
The Town of Palermo is requesting bids from contractors for the Town’s 2017 paving program of approximately 2,770 tons. Bids are due back in the Palermo Town Office no later than 5:00 p.m., Thursday, June 22, 2017. Bids will be opened at 6pm.

All overlay sections on paved roads are to be tacked, and shimmed where necessary and therefore included in the bid pricing.
Bids are to include costs per ton of mix and shimming. Incidental and to be included in ton pricing are all necessary sweeping, traffic control, cutting of joints at intersections, paved driveways, and butt joints, as well as other normal measures associated with municipal paving projects.
Paving is to be coordinated with the Road Commissioner, subject to changes at his discretion based upon road conditions, and completed no later than October 15, 2017. The Town of Palermo reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
