Public Meeting to Discuss Sheepscot Dam 9/19/17

Tuesday Sept 19, 2017 
First, the Dam visit will start at 4PM at the Dam.  The Atlantic Salmon Federation has arranged for an engineer to explain changes to the dam.  Bring boots if you want to get down into the foot of the dam to see what's being proposed. 
Secondly, at about 5:30, there will be a Q&A meeting with the engineer and at least Rep. Zeigler to address your concerns.  This will be at the Consolidated School GYM. 
 
Palermo year round and seasonal residents-the working group formed by Rep. Zeigler after the Aug 7th public meeting to evaluate the current legislation to open the dam (LD922) to allow migration of Alewives and Sea Lamprey into Sheepscot Lake will be meeting to view the dam and then hold a working session. This is open to the public. We encourage you to come and follow the working session There will be an opportunity to ask questions for all residents and attendees. Please attend and voice your concerns!!!
